What is the Ambassador Program?

School Lunch Angels Ambassadors are community-minded volunteers who share our mission, raise awareness, and help us with fundraising. Ambassadors are the friendly face of our nonprofit at community outreach events and online. Your presence and voice help us raise the funds needed to eliminate school lunch debt and lift the burden of school lunch fees when families face sudden life changing events.

What Ambassadors Do

• Share our mission in person and online

• Attend community outreach events

• Introduce us to potential sponsors and service clubs

• Participate in Fundraisers

• Invite friends to follow us on social media and join the cause

• Celebrate wins when we pay off lunch debt accounts

Time commitment is flexible. Most Ambassadors give about two to four hours per month. We will equip you with simple talking points and ready-to-share posts

How We Support You

• A short onboarding call and welcome email

• A School Lunch Angels t-shirt after membership is processed

• Priority updates about impact, events, and volunteer needs

• Attend Ambassador meetings throughout the year

How To Join

1. Complete the interest form below

2. Watch for a welcome email from our Secretary who will schedule your onboarding

3. Sign the Ambassador Agreement

4. Pay the $25 annual membership

5. Receive your t-shirt and Toolkit and start sharing the mission

Our Secretary manages onboarding from start to finish so you always have a single point of contact.

Membership and T-Shirt

Ambassadors contribute a $25 annual membership. This covers your shirt and basic program materials so more donor dollars go directly to paying off student lunch debt.

Ambassador Agreement

All Ambassadors sign a simple agreement that covers brand use, respectful conduct at events, confidentiality, and alignment with our mission. You will receive the agreement during onboarding and can sign electronically.

Every conversation opens a door. Every door brings us closer to our yearly goal to clear lunch debt in Harris County. When you wear your shirt and share our story, you help a child sit down to lunch with confidence.

Do I need previous experience?

No. If you care about kids and can speak kindly on our behalf, you are ready.

Where does the membership fee go?

It covers your shirt and Ambassador materials so donations can focus on paying off lunch debt.

FAQ

Can students serve as Ambassadors?

Yes. Junior Ambassadors ages 16 to 17 are welcome with a parent or guardian’s permission.
